Bellows dismantling joints

Mounting and demounting of valves or similar devices in the rigid pipelines is quite a difficult job. In the pipeline with high pressure and larger sizes with strong anchors at the ends of straight sections, Spiroflex recommends bellows dismantling joints. The expansion joints are equipped with restrain screws which bridge convoluted part of expansion joint and they absorb the pressure thrust force due to the internal pressure of pipeline. Furthermore the bellows dismantling joints are equipped with compression screws. They compress the expansion joint in the moment of fitting or removing of component and further installation work without difficulties. The elastic expansion joint has generally possibility for compression and extension ±25mm. The design of bellows dismantling joints requires no special maintenance.

  • Bellows: DIN EN 1.4541 or 1.4571
  • Internal sleeves: DIN EN 1.4541 or 1.4571
  • Flanges: Carbon steel or stainless steel
  • Tie roads: Carbon steel galvanized or stainless steel
 

Structure of expansion joint type “B”

  • Bellows: DIN EN 1.4541 or 1.4571
  • Internal sleeves: DIN EN 1.4541 or 1.4571
  • Collars: DIN EN 1.4541 or 1.4571
  • Collars: DIN EN 1.4541 or 1.4571
  • Flanges: Carbon steel painted, galvanized or stainless steel
  • Tie roads: Carbon steel galvanized or stainless steel
